On June 6 a convoy crossed London consisting of 50 Jaguar E-types to mark the iconic sports car’s 50th anniversary and the opening of the nearest thing to a motor show London now has. Fine examples of the Jaguar E-type convey featured those that premiered in 1961 in Geneva and went on to become one of the most acclaimed world sports car until 1975 when it was discontinued.

It has won several awards and has been described by many as the most beautiful car of all time and it earned a place in New York’s Museum of Modern Art for its unique design. The E-type will be lined up at Motor Expo against it contemporaries including the 550 PS Jaguar XKR-S the brands most beautiful model ever to be made.

Also there will be vehicles on display from Land Rover, BMW, Bentley, Saab, Tesla, Skoda, Vauxhall, Mercedes Benz and Volvo. And over 250 cars in total at the event that ends June12. Disney Cars 2 characters will be there including the Lightning McQueen. The Motorexpo is only one of many high profile British auto events the E-type will be headlining this year.
