Ford unveil their latest Fiesta

The American car manufacturer Ford has announced the release of their newest vehicle, the modern version of the Ford Fiesta. The Fiesta is one of the best-selling models of the company so their decision to release a new and improved version of the model doesn’t come as a surprise.

Anyone who is eager to take a look at the new Fiesta will have their chance at the “Go Further” event in Amsterdam. The show is hosted by Ford’s CEO Alan Mulally and will be visited by over 2,500 car dealers.

The new Fiesta will come with a wide range of new technologies that will enhance the driving experience and make car trips safer, more enjoyable and comfortable. One of the biggest innovations is the Ford SYNC, a voice-activated car connectivity system.

Other new features are the Active City Stop and MyKey. The vehicle will be powered by a 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine which won’t provide a lot of extra power, but is expected to be one of the most economical engines.

Martin Smith, executive design director of Ford of Europe, said: “The Ford Fiesta is one of the most popular cars in the world. The vehicle is perfect for people who are looking for a safe and comfortable car that is economic, and cheap to maintain and purchase. This is undisputedly the most successful small car in the world, but we hope that the new model will surpass the success of its predecessor.”

The first Fiesta was released in 1976 and since then the company has sold a total of 15 million models. The design of the new Fiesta is inspired by some of the latest concept vehicles presented by Ford.

The car’s face will be finished by a trapezoidal front grille and side by side laser-cut headlamps. The model will also feature the mandatory daytime lamps that will be using a new LED technology. The interior design of the new Fiesta will be very harmonious and ergonomic in order to provide a comfortable driving experience.
