Nano, the world’s cheapest car manufactured by Tata Motors, Indians automobile giant, has been ranked the worst car in the small cars category in terms of customer satisfaction giving the automaker attention for all the wrong reasons.
The Maruti Suzuki Alto was ranked as the best entry for small cars by the TNS Automotive in their 2010 four-wheeler Total Customer Satisfaction Survey while Omni, another Suzuki placed second.
The customer’s expectations are rising even on the bottom end and the owners of cars like the Tata Nano are expecting more in terms of design, the TNS survey that was released on Thursday outlined.

Maruti Suzuki’s Zen Estilo and A-Star are leaders in the premium compact car category while Volkswagen’s Polo and Suzuki’s Swift garnered the upper premium small car category with all this based on over 9,000 surveys over 56 models.
