Next month the new Kia Picanto range will go on sale and before they arrive, Kia UK dealerships have included a new model to their Picanto line-up, 1 Air. The Picanto takes it engine and platform from the highly acclaimed i10 Hyundai and is a long over due change from the city car’s previous version.
At 60mm longer the new car has a 15mm longer wheelbase. There is a five-door and the three-door model will be out later in the year. The new version has an interior with a silver strip that runs over the glovebox and around the heating controls.
The car has big car convenience and comfort features like automatic controlled A/C, heated and electronic folding door mirrors equipped with side repeaters, steering wheel mounted audio controls, automatic light control with welcome and escort modes and dual cup holders that are retractable. The Picanto range starts on sale in mid June and has a £600 premium above the basic model that lists for £7,995 and the 1 Air deliveries will start in September.
