Peugeot sales up nearly 8 percent

Peugeot continues to grow its market share, even as other manufacturers’ numbers decline.  Peugeot reported that auto sales were up nearly 8 percent and its light commercial vehicles are selling almost 25 per cent better.  All of this happened while the new car market slid by almost 12 per cent, overall.

There is no doubt that Peugeot is very popular right now, bolstered by its “Just Add Fuel” campaign and sales of popular models like the 207 and the new RCZ, 3008, and 5008.

In November 2010, Peugeot absolutely out-performed its numbers from November 2009 by nearly 5 per cent.  Peugeot, as a whole, now represents more than 5 per cent of the market share in new vehicle sales.

The Peugeot 207 is still the company’s most popular vehicle, with the 3008 placing second at more than 15 per cent of Peugeot sales.
